Peter E. Blau: A Festschrift.
In Honor of the 60th Anniversary of
His Investiture in
The Baker Street Irregulars.
Edited & introduced by
Leslie S. Klinger, BSI.
Sixty is a number of great significance in the Sherlockian world. It’s the number of stories in the Canon. It’s also the number of years that Peter Blau has held an investiture in The Baker Street Irregulars, appropriately as “Black Peter.”
In celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of his receiving the Irregular Shilling, several friends of Peter banded together, under the editorship of Les Klinger, and produced this Festschrift in his honor. Printed in a very limited edition, it contains biographical information, photos, and reminiscences of Peter and his many contributions to The Baker Street Irregulars.
It’s a funny, warm, and yet informative volume and an essential collector’s item to anyone interested in the history of the BSI and a key member of the group.
